Suspect arrested, IED defused near Makhmour
NINEWA/ IraqiNews.com: Security forces captured one suspect and defused an explosive charge near Makhmour district in northern Iraq, according to an army source. “Today, Iraqi army forces conducted a search raid in Salman village (25 km west of Makhmour district) and arrested one suspect,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “Another force has defused an improvised explosive device (IED) near Mala Oula village (32 km west of Makhmour), but no casualties or damage were reported,” the source added, providing no further details.
