MP Maliki calls Iraqi parliament to avoid postponing the vote on 2013 budget

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Abdul Salam al-Maliki of the State of Law Coalition called the chairmanship of the Iraqi Parliament to display the 2013 budget for vote during Thursday regular session, urging not to be driven by desires of some parliamentary blocs.

Maliki stressed “There are certain political sides that work on disturbing endorsing 2013 federal budget for favor of partisan and communal interests without any regard to the bad effects that might occur if the budget’s endorsement was delayed.”

He called on “the parliament to vote on 2013 budget during the regular session of Thursday and avoid postponing it anymore.”
