MP warns of allowing Anbar protests to move to Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Abdul Mahdi al-Khafaji of the State of Law Coalition stressed “It is not wise to allow moving what is so called (Camps of Qaeda Organization) from Anbar to Baghdad, under pretext of authorizing peaceful demonstrations.”

Khafaji stated in statement received by IraqiNews.com “We trust the patriotic figures who expressed fears over presence of Qaeda among our people in Anbar, but if the Anbar protests are allowed to move to Baghdad, then this stands for destroying the political process and the constitution.”

The organizers of Anbar protests announced earlier their intention to hold Friday prayer at Abu Hanifa mosque in central Baghdad on next Friday.
