Urgent – Integrity Committee resumes investigations over CBI corruption
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliamentary Integrity Committee announced re-launching the investigations in the issue of the Central Bank of Iraq related to the corruption suspicions.
Member of the Committee, Othman al-Jihaishi told Iraqi News “The Committee decided to open the investigations over the corruption case of the CBI because of receiving information about an official who works at the Bank and receives $ 800, 000 per month, noting “For this reason, we decided to investigation these reports.”
Jihaishi added “New commission was formed by the Integrity Committee different from the previous commission that was formed by the parliament to investigate the issue of the CBI corruption.”
