Gunman arrested in northern Mosul

Ninewa-Gunman NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Tuesday arrested a gunman in northern Mosul, according an Iraqi army source. “The forces on Tuesday (Jan. 13) arrested a gunman who tried to flee after throwing a hand grenade at a police patrol in al-Jameaa neighborhood in northern Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The bomb did not explode and the forces managed to arrest him shortly after his escape,” he also said.
