Rubai describing not involving Baghdad in political disputes as Correct step

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of Baghdad Provincial Council and head of the Strategic Planning Committee, Mohamed al-Rubai, described not involving Baghdad in the political disputes as “Correct step.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Not involving Baghdad in the political tensions and consider the concerns of the citizens is a correct step and adherence to the calls of conducting dialogue and avoiding the sectarian escalation.”

He called “The demonstrations to make use of the support of the Religious Authority in Najaf province, the political blocs, the chieftains and the national assemblies by avoiding the escalation and the tensions.”

He also called “The government and the ministerial committee to expedite responding to the demonstrators’ demands and to endorse laws that are constitutional and help in sustaining stability and the national peace.”

He warned from “Exploiting the demonstrations or politicizing them, stressing the necessity of isolating the penetrated elements that aim at achieving illegal aims and make the demonstrations away from their national and peaceful features.”
