Urgent – .Diyala Governor’s office raided

Diyala (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi security force raided the office of Diyala Governor, Omar al-Hamiri and confiscated the weapons of his guards in Muqdadiya district of northern Diyala province.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Saturday “A security force from Muqdadiya police raided, late at last night, Hamiri’s office and seized his bodyguards’ weapons and the Motorola devices.”

“After being informed about the raid process, Diyala Governor ordered to launch investigation with Muqdadiya police commander to indentify the circumstances of the incident,” the source concluded.
