MP describes Baghdad Sunday bombings as \"Extension for provocative, sectarian voices\"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Salam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition described the bombings that took place in Baghdad on last Sunday as “An extension for the provocative and sectarian voices of some demonstrators and chieftains.”

Speaking to IraqiNews.com, he mentioned “The General Commander of the Armed Forces, Nouri al-Maliki, took immediate measures involved launching investigations with the security leaders of the targeted areas in addition to replacing some field commanders who proved to fail in sustaining security.”

“The size of the terrorist operation that targeted Baghdad on last Sunday proves that the terrorists attempt to deliver a false message that the security forces are unable to protect them,” he added.

“This issue must be solved through precautionary operations and by activating the intelligence efforts,” he concluded.

Baghdad witnessed a series of car bombings that targeted public markets resulted in killing and injuring dozens of citizens on last Sunday.
