Urgent – .KSA resumes flights to Baghdad International Airport

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Saudi Arabia has resumed flights to Baghdad International Airport after more than 20 years suspension.

A statement by the Iraqi Ministry of transport reported on Wednesday “The Saudi Airlines re-launched flights to Baghdad International Airport to transport the Iraqi pilgrims to the Holy Lands in Mecca.”

The flights between Iraq and Saudi Arabia was halted due to deterioration of the relations between the two countries because of the Iraqi former regime’s occupation for Kuwait in 1990.
