Budget amount set for political purposes, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The independent MP, Abdul Khudhur al-Taher, assured that the amount of 2013 General Budget was not set in arithmetical way, but for political purposes to pressurize some sides.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said ” Even if the demands related to the Budget are legitimate and legal, they must be divided and not to be as obstacles.”

“The endorsement of the Budget is about to be done and the next week will witness the vote on the Budget after settling the other disputes such as paying the fees of the oil companies working in Kurdistan Region,” he concluded.
