Ammo, explosives cache seized in southwestern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The security forces discovered ammo and explosives cache in Al-Jazeera area of southwestern Tikrit on last Thursday night.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The cache that was found in a deserted house belongs to Qaeda Organization.”

“The cache involved 22 shells, 3 bombs and C4 explosive s and wires used in the explosives,” the source added.

“These explosives were transferred to a safe place,” the source concluded.
