Religious parties trial sessions commence

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The head of the Iraqi Supreme Criminal Court said that the first sessions to try defendants accused of suppressing religious parties started on Sunday. “The sessions were headed by Justice Mohammed Uraiby al-Khalifa,” Chief Justice Arif Shaheen told IraqiNews.com. “The 25 defendants in this case have attended the sessions,” he added.
