IS MP accuses the government of misleading the public

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Liqa Wardi, of al-Iraqiya Slate accused the government of misleading the public and releasing the prisoners who belong to a certain community or sect.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she said “There is a misleading to the public by announcing that the prisoners are released and there are committees formed to respond to the demonstrators’ demands where there the released prisoners belong to some provinces and certain blocs and not to the provinces that witness demonstrations.”

“To prove it, the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, stated that there is no balance in releasing the prisoners where the private amnesty is used for a certain sect or community,” she concluded.
