64 Wanted persons arrested during classified security operation in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) The security forces arrested more then 60 wanted and suspected individuals southern Mosul.The Commander of the Federal Police/ Third Division, Major General Mahdi al-Gharawi, reported in press conference that was held at the headquarter of the Division and was attended by the correspondent of IraqiNews.com ”The security forces implemented a classified security operation, named (Crashing Terrorism) during the past days in Shura, Qayara, Hamam al-Aleel areas of southern Mosul, the capital of Nineveh province.””The security operation resulted in arresting (64) wanted individuals or suspects,” he added, noting that “About (30) persons of the detainees were released after proving their innocence during the investigations while (34) other detainees were referred to judicial authorities according to the judicial arrest warrants issued against them,” he added.”During the security operation, which was implemented on four stages, the security forces seized and confiscated weapons and ammunitions,” he concluded. \
