Maliki’s intended visit to Egypt to enhance bilateral relations, says Jobouri

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Hurra Iraqiya Coalition, Dr. Qutaiba al-Jobouri, assured that the intended visit of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, is a positive step that will enhance bilateral relations.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Iraq was among the first countries that dealt positively with Egypt after the revolution.”

“Iraq expressed its desire to consolidate relations with the Arabic countries especially during the Arab Summit held in Baghdad,” he noted.

“We hope other Arab countries to follow the example of Egypt in its seriousness to adopt openness towards Iraq,” he concluded.
