Turkey grants MA, PHD grants for Iraqi students

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish Consulate in Basra Province confirmed on Tuesday granting opportunities for the Iraqi students to continue their studies in MA and PHD stages in Turkey.

The Turkish General Consul in Basra, Faruq Qaimaqji, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday that “The Turkish Grants Program is considered an important educational opportunity for foreign students willing to complete their M.A. or PH.D. studies in Turkey,” noting that “The program is available for the Iraqi students residing in Iraqi provinces.”

“Applying for these grants in 2013 will be directly through the internet from March 10-31,” he concluded.
