Nijaifi describes what government meets of demonstrators’ demands as little

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi, the leading figure within the Iraqiya Slate, stressed that the is no progress in the file of answering the demonstrators’ demands

Nijaifi said in a press conference on Tuesday “The Iraqi government did not deal seriously with the demonstrators’ demands and what was done in this regard is simple and uninfluential.”

“The arrests and tortures are still ongoing in the provinces that witness demonstrations where four demonstrators have died in Diyala,” he added.

“The procedures of the ministerial commission formed to consider the demonstrators’ demands are inadequate,” Nijaifi concluded.
