Iran: Political situation in Iraq affected by Syrian crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Islamic Republic of Iraq warned from the development of the Iraqi situation in Iraq.

The Iranian Foreign Minister, Ali Akbar Salihi, stated in a joint press conference with his Benin Counterpart “The latest developments of Iraq are not good, but the history of Iraq and the existence of the government which is elected by the people will not allow Iraq to be in a critical situation.”

He called “The Iraqi officials to take the suitable actions to prevent affecting the Iraqi situation with the Syrian crisis where there are some sides that aim at increasing the Syrian crisis to be in the other countries.”

“During my last visit to Iraq, I made sure that the Iraqis are aware of the big sectarianism and will not allow Iraq to be in unknown situation,” he concluded.
