MoI: IEDs defused in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Official spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Saad Maan, stated that ”The security forces defused several Improvised Explosive Devices in various areas of Iraq.”The Ministry of Interior reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The forces of the Intelligence Directorate discovered an IED and detonated it in Taji area without any losses.””The security forces found a local made IED tied to a cell phone and attached to a tank filled with gasoline,” the statement added, noting that “The IED was defused without any human casualties or material damages.””The Intelligence forces of Kirkuk province discovered two IEDs and five rockets and the force called for asistance from the Explosive Ordinance Disposal unit who imposed a security cordon and dismantled it,” the statement pointed out. \
