Timimi calls to investigate corruption within Basra Police Command

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mansour al-Timimi, of the State of Law Coalition called the General Inspector within the Ministry of Interior to investigate the corruption suspicions within Basra Police Command.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “We received complaints from citizens who treated unfairly,” noting that “The poor elements of Basra police, who do not have support, serve for longer time than the others who own money.”

“We reject such issue completely,” he added.

“Such cases refer to corruption that must be investigated,” he concluded.
