Alewi warns from creating sectarianism among Iraqis by foreign sides

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Karim Alewi, of the Iraqi National Alliance stated that the sectarianism is increased in Iraq, but the Iraqis re aware of it and will avoid any sectarian conflict.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The sectarianism in existed in Iraq, but the Iraqi people know how to deal with it especially after being oppressed for along time,” noting that “The oppression of the previous dictators in Iraq was eliminated in all the political, security, cultural and social sides.”

“In spite of being oppressed, the Iraqis did not think of sectarianism or partition and were united, but there are some foreign sides that attempt at creating the sectarianism among them,” he added, assuring that “The Sunni, Shiite and Kurds are realizing the danger of those attempts and will work on eliminating them earlier.”
