Gang leader arrested in Maysan

Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) A security force of the Anti-Crime department within Maysan Police Directorate arrested a gang leader in Maysan province.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Saturday “The police patrols arrested a gang leader who committed (12) robberies through stealing the money from citizens when they withdraw it from banks or from currency exchange offices.””The statements of the detainee were judicially documented in order to accomplish the legal procedures against him and refer him to judicial authority to get his fair punishment,” the source added.”The command of Maysan Police department arrested many thieves and gangs in record time due to the great efforts exerted by the security forces and the continuous follow up by the Police officers who have wide experience in this field,” the source pointed out. \
