Tribes’ needs should be fulfilled – VP

Talabani-Hashemi BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi on Tuesday called to employ a subjective vision to consider the needs of tribes, relying on the upcoming provincial councils to achieve the desired improvement, according to a release issued by al-Hashemi’s office. “Tribes have been a security valve to keep Iraq stable and unified,” the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency quoted al-Hashemi as saying while he was receiving a group of chieftains from the Taji area in Baghdad. “Efforts should assist this subjective vision, especially after the security improvements throughout Iraq,” he added.
