Kurdish president, IUP head mulls political developments

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: President of Iraq’s Kurdistan region Massoud Barzani on Wednesday held a meeting with the Head of Iraqi Umma Party (IUP) Mathal al-Alusi on means to activate the political process in Iraq. “The two officials discussed on Wednesday (Jan. 7) means to activate the political process in Iraq and the importance of boosting Iraqi people unity within the new federal democratic Iraq,” said a statement released from the IUP received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
