Urgent – .Local elections postponed in Anbar, Nineveh for 6 months

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Council of Ministers postponed the local elections in two provinces for six months due to reasons related to the security situation in these provinces.

Reliable source at the CoM reported on Tuesday “The Iraqi Cabinet decided to postpone the next provincial elections that are scheduled to be launched in 20th, April, for six months in Nineveh and Anbar provinces due to the security situation experienced by the country.”
