Egypt detains Iraqi diplomat

(IraqiNews.com) The Security authority at Cairo International Airport in Egypt arrested an Iraqi diplomat for slapping an Egyptian police officer during an air flight from Cairo to Erbil.Press sources quoted a source of Cairo International Airport as saying that “The Egyptian officer demanded the passengers to line up in a queue to organize their riding on to the airplane, but the Iraqi diplomat, Hussein Ahmed Khurd, refused and quarreled with the officer then he slapped him and soon things developed into a fight.””The Airport canceled the air flight of the Iraqi diplomat and he was referred to police after asking permission from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” the sources added. \
