Free Zone to be established in Babel province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The General Commission of Free Zones within the Ministry of Finance discussed with Babel Investment Commission the possibility of establishing a free zone in Babel to revitalize the commercial efforts and facilitate the goods transportation among the cities and provinces.

The General Commission of Free Zones reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com “The Director of Babel Investment Commission, Alaa Ibraheem, discussed with a delegation from the Free Zones Commission the possibility to establish a Free Zone in Babel province in order to promote the investment projects in the province.”

“The delegation visited the site allocated for establishing the project and expressed its will to cooperate in ensuring the success of this project and revitalizing the economy of the province as well as reducing the unemployment rate in Babel,” the statement added. \
