International community holds negative view over Iraq, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Foreign Relations Parlaimentary Committee, Arkan Zebari, confirmed that the international community holds a negative view over Iraq especially the recent reports issued by the General Amnesty Organization and the United Nations.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “We are afraid that the image conveyed by the Iraqi politicians abroad is incorrect and not transparent,” noting that “The UN reports issued recently about the situation in Iraq are negative.”

“The last developments in Iraq and the political problems as well as the security crises help in promote the bad image about Iraq,” he added.

He called “All the officials to hold their responsibilities and to be frank with Iraqis to change this negative view over Iraq.”
