Tuesday blasts proves failure of sonar devices used by security checkpoints

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Hassan Jihad, member of the parliament Security and Defense Committee stressed that “The number of the car bombs and the Improvised Explosive Devices which exploded in Baghdad on last Tuesday proved the failure of the sonar explosives detectors used by the security checkpoints.”He reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday “If the security checkpoints had an effective explosive detectors devices, the terrorist groups would not be able to bring more than 20 car bombs and IEDs to Baghdad.”He called to “provide new reliable sonar devices away from the corrupted deals to ensure its good quality and effectiveness, ” noting that “The terrorist groups may not control the security situation, though, they can breach the security situation taking advantage of the weak points of the security forces.”The Qaeda Organization announced ealier, responsibility for the blasts that took place on last Tuesday in Iraq which led to killing and wounding dozens of civilians.According to IraqiNews.com statistics, about (280) persons were killed and wounded due to (25) explosions in Baghdad and other Iraqi provinces. \
