IAF to put forward speaker’s replacement this afternoon

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Accord Front (IAF) will meet on Saturday afternoon to put forward its final candidate for the position of the Iraqi Parliament’s speaker, according to a member of the front. “The front met after al-Mashhadani’s resignation to nominate a replacement and I was elected for this position in the presence of the front’s members,” MP Iyad al-Samarraie told IraqiNews.com news agency.
