Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mahdi Haji of the Kurdistani Alliance announced that “The Alliance will not attend the next sessions of the Iraqi parliament.”

Haji told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Instructions issued from the KA’s leadership calling its MPs not to attend the parliament’s next sessions,” pointing out that “We are still in Kurdistan Region for consultation.”

“However, our attendance to the parliament’s sessions or the Cabinet will not be conditional, also we didn’t decide to withdraw from both of the councils,” he added.

The parliament will resume regular sessions on next Tuesday, which is the first session after ratifying the federal budget for 2013.
