Timimi criticizes supervisory sides tasked to confront corruption

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mansour al-Timimi, of the State of Law Coalition criticized the supervisory sides that are tasked to confront corruption.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “As much as the role of these supervisory sides grows better, the corruption will reduced to law levels.”

“These concerned sides that involve Integrity Commission, Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Financial Supervisory Divan and the offices of the General Inspectors are requested to upgrade their roles to eliminate corruption,” he added.

“Corruption, which is not less in its danger than terrorism, delayed the construction process in the country and it represents a major challenge for Iraq,” he concluded.
