Parliament holds open session – Kurdish MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Lawmaker Mahmoud Othman from the Kurdistan Alliance (KA) said that the Iraqi council of representatives held an open session on Monday without debating the issue of the parliament’s speaker. “The session was headed by Sheikh Khalid al-Attiya, the first deputy speaker,” Othman told IraqiNews.com news agency. “A number of bills were read during the session,” he added.
