4 IPs killed, injured in Samarra

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Four policemen were killed and injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device explosion in Samara city.Security source told Iraqi News IraqiNews.com on Monday “The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside in Armoishya crossroads, exploded targeting a Federal Police Checkpoint positioned at central Samarra city to the south of Tikrit.””The explosion resulted in killing a policeman and wounding three others,” the source added.”The ambulances rushed to the explosion scene transporting the dead body of the policeman to the morgue and the wounded policemen to the nearest hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
