Urgent – .local elections nominee assassinated in Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Gunmen assassinated on Tuesday, a nominee for the upcoming local elections in Nineveh province.

Security force told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting Bahjat Mohamed Saeed, a nominee for Um al-Rabiein Gathering in front of his house to the north of Mosul, capital of Nineveh.”

“The gunmen fled to unknown destination while the police transported the victim’s dead body to the morgue,” the source added.
