Wanted persons arrested in Maysan

Maysan, Amara (IraqiNews.com) Security forces arrested several wanted individuals on terrorism and drugs trafficking charges in Maysan province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “The Security Checkpoints and External Roads Directorate within Maysan Police Department arrested five wanted individuals, one of them was arrested according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law while the other four are accused of committing murder.”

“The detainees were referred to the specialized authorities for investigation,” the source added.

“The patrols of the Anti-Drugs Department conducted a security operation to implement judicial arrest warrants based on intelligence information,” the source pointed out.

“The security operation resulted in arresting six individuals according to the article (14) of Anti-Drugs law, ” noting that “The detainees were referred to judiciary for investigation,” the source concluded. \END\
