Jaaf calls Maliki to urgently investigate sides behind Tuz Khurmatu bombing

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Ashuaq al-Jaaf of Kurdistan Alliance condemned the terrorist bombing that took place in Tuz Khurmatu district of Salah il-Din province on Tuesday, calling the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki to urgently reveal the sides behind this attack.

Jaaf said “The terrorism targeted once again, the democracy and the peaceful co-existence in Tuz Khurmatu in a heinous attack that led to the death of two of the city symbols, the martyrs, Rasheed Khursheed and Qadir al-Nuaimi.”

She called on the “Premier, Maliki to urgently investigate the sides involved in the bombing which proved that the security file in the district is run by ineffective officials.”

An IED detonated on Tuesday targeting Salah il-Din Provincial Council’s member, Khursheed and the head of Tuz Khurmatu’s local council, Nuaimi, along with two of their bodyguards, while other four were injured including Tuz Khurmatu Mayor.
