Talabani confers Iraq’s relations with Russia

Babel-Candidates BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: President of the Republic Jalal Talabani on Tuesday conferred methods of mutual cooperation between Baghdad and Moscow, in a meeting with a Russian delegation, according to a presidential release. “Iraq is determined to strengthen relations with Russia,” the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency quoted Talabani as saying. “The Iraqi leadership perceives the importance of relations with Russia,” he said. “Iraq’s Presidential Board supports and encourages those relations,” he added.
