Ammar al-Hakeem, Iranian amb. review political, economic cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The chairman of the Shahid al-Mihrab Foundation, Ammar al-Hakeem, discussed with Iranian Ambassador in Baghdad Hassan Kazemi Qumi means to bolster political and economic cooperation between the two countries. “Ammar al-Hakeem received at his office in Baghdad on Tuesday the Iranian diplomat and discussed ways to foster bilateral relations and to develop cooperation in various domains, mainly in economic and political fields,” read a statement published on the official web site of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council. Ammar is the elder son of SIIC leader Abdel-Aziz al-Hakim. Based in Najaf, the Shahid al-Mihrab Foundation is an offshoot of the Shiite SIIC and has branches in several Iraqi provinces. SH (P) 1
