President, U.S. delegation discuss domestic situation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal al-Talabani on Wednesday discussed with a U.S. delegation the recent developments in the country. “On Wednesday, Talabani received a U.S. delegation, including a number of academicians, politicians, and strategists. The two sides took up the political, economic and social situation in Iraq,” according to a presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The two sides also discussed the readiness of Iraqi forces to take over their own security following the withdrawal of U.S. forces in accordance with the pact signed between the two countries.
