Maliki: Iraq to keep on searching trucks, airplanes heading to Syria

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed that Iraq will go on searching the trucks and the airplanes heading to Syria to prevent supplying weapons to any of the conflicting sides.

The Iraqiya Satellite Channel quoted Maliki as saying “Iraq will keep on the trucks and the airplanes that pass through the airspace and the territories to Syria.”

“This is to ensure prevention of supplying weapons to the Syrian regime or opposition,” he concluded.
