Salah-il-Din Governor survives assassination attempt

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Salah-il-Din province, Ahmed Abd Allah al-Jebuori, survived an assassination attempt of northern Tikrit city.The Director of the Media Directorate within Salah-il-Din Governorate, Jamal Ikaab, mentioned in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Saturday “An IED exploded targeting the motorcade of the Governor in a village that lies in the Left Coast area of Shurqat district of northern Tikrit city.””The explosion did not result in any human casualties or material damages,” the source added.
