Timimi calls MoFA to take urgent stance towards Kuwaiti violations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mansour al-Timimi, of the State of Law Coalition called the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take an urgent stance towards the Kuwaiti violations against the Iraqi territories in Basra province.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Kuwaiti seized more than 6 km from the Iraqi territories as well as hundreds of oil wells in addition to displacing hundreds of Iraqi families in Basra.”

He urged “The Minister of Foreign Affairs to neglect the personal disputes with the Government and to be a real representative for the people and the current Government.”

It is worth mentioning that houses of several citizens in Um Qasr border area are located at the border line that will demarcated by the Kuwaiti Government. These citizens are request to leave their houses two weeks ago.
