Abawi, Shalgam discuss Iraq’s role in presiding Arab League

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Planning Affairs, Labeed Abawi, discussed with the Arab League Mission’s head to Iraq, Ambassador, Naji Shalgam, Iraq’s interaction with the Arab League and its role in chairing the Arab League Summit in the last year.

A statement by the FM cited that “Abawi met with Shalgam in Baghdad on occasion of ending his task in Iraq where the Ambassador expressed his gratefulness for all the efforts exerted by the Iraqi FM and its diplomats most notably the Minister, Hoshyar Zibari to ensure the success of the AL Mission in Baghdad.”

For his part, “Abawi expressed his happiness towards Shlagam’s good performance, wishing him success in his professional course.”
