Barzani, Afghan Ambassador to Iraq discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, discussed on Thursday, the bilateral relations with Afghanistan Ambassador to Iraq.

A statement by Kurdistan Region Presidency Office cited on Thursday “Barzani received in Salah al-Din resort in Erbil, Afghan Ambassador to Iraq, Mohamed Anwar who praised the Region’s progress in the fields of Freedom of expression, security, welfare and development.”

“The two sides reviewed the political situation in Iraq and the region where Afghanistan Ambassador expressed his wish to strengthen the bilateral relations between Kurdistan and Afghanistan especially in the cultural and media domains,” the statement added.
