Urgent – 7 people wounded in Baquba

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) Seven people were injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device explosion in Baquba city of central Diyala province.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Friday “The IED, which was emplaced near Sariya Mosque in Baquba Jadeda, exploded targeting the people who were performing the Friday prayer,” noting that “The explosion resulted in wounding seven people.”

“The security forces rushed to the explosion scene and transported the wounded poeple to the hospital for treatment,” the source added. END
