Harb demands to confiscate Saadi’s passports

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The legal expert Tariq Harb demanded the Iraqi Parliament to withdraw and confiscate the diplomatic passports of MP Sabah a-Saadi to “forbid him from travelling outside Iraq,” because Saadi has already accused Harb of being involved in war crimes during the Iraqi-Iranian War.

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, Harb said Saturday evening “MP Saah al-Saadi is accused of murder, rape and other crimes due to which he faces arrest warrants issued by specialized courts,” noting that “These arrest warrants have been sent to the legal committee in Parliament but the immunity was not lifted yet which gives him an opportunity to flee abroad.”

Harb called the media outlets to make sure of the arrest warrants issued against Saadi which are at the custody of the Parliamentary Legal Committee.
