IP, his child wounded in Tikrit

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A policeman and his child were wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded to the west of Tikrit.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Sunday “The IED, which was emplaced in a policeman’s vehicle, exploded while he was driving across Jazera area of western Tikrit.”

“The policeman and his child were wounded due to the IED explosion,” the source added.

“The security forces attended at the explosion scene and transported the wounded policeman and his child to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the source pointed out. END
