UNAMI: 1609 Iraqis killed, injured during last March in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The UN Assistance Mission to Iraq (UNAMI) announced on Monday, killing and injuring (1609) Iraqis in the armed operations and violence during last March.

A statement by the UNAMI reported “According to the available statistics about (229) civilians were killed and (853) others were wounded due to terrorist attacks in Iraq during last March. While (227) security elements were killed and (300) others were injured because of these armed attacks.”

The statement reported human rights official at the Mission as saying “The UN strongly regrets this ongoing loss of life which is caused by the violence in the country.”
