HR Parliamentary committee discusses human rights law projects with US Embassy

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Salim al-Jebuori the Head of Human Rights Committee hosted Christine Kelmo, who is responsible for the human rights files in the American Embassy to Iraq, at the headquarter of the committee.The committee reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday “The two sides discussed the law projects related to human rights and the role of the committee in following up these projects including the social insurance and the disabled people in order to reach the final form in accordance with the international conventions and the Iraqi constitution.”He stressed “The importance to communicate with all international society organizations and the bodies supportive for human rights in order to upgrade the future of human rights in Iraq.” \END\
